 SAFC® Buchs is located in Buchs, Switzerland and encompasses 402,400 ft² of manufacturing space. There are multiple production facilities within this ISO 9002 certified site that are responsible for the production of over 4,000 compounds.
The company recently committed to a $5.4 million cGMP production expansion to provide additional improvements in material and personnel flow and expand cGMP storage. The expansion was on line in 2008.
SAFC Buchs has a long history of producing high-quality precursors & actives. The plant specializes in complex, multi-step synthesis to 1,600 liters and low temperature reactions (-60°C) up to 400 liters. A broad range of production technologies and multi-purpose equipment offers batch sizes from grams to tons.
This facility operates under cGMP, certified by the Swiss authorities.
