Process development and scale-up:
As part of our project management approach, scale-up development teams are located at each Hitech manufacturing site and work in close alignment with manufacturing chemists to facilitate the smooth technology transfer from development through high-volume manufacturing. Manufacturing hazardous products is our business. To minimize risks, we continually conduct safety scenarios on our compounds and perform stability studies using a variety of evaluation techniques, including automated lab reactors that can identify heat.

Commercial-scale manufacturing:
To cover the broad-ranging needs of customers, SAFC Hitech's large-scale manufacturing capabilities cover the entire spectrum of manufacturing including from multi-liter to multi-ton scale, including effective scheduling, flexibility in batch scales, safe handling of hazardous raw materials, customized packaging, knowledge of local and global transportation requirements and more.
