One minute I’m working at the bench in the lab and the next minute I’m giving a presentation on my data in front of hundreds of other scientists. I love that I can work with various teams, both internally and externally to create a product and then to use that product in its intended application. In addition, I am able to collaborate with other institutions around the world to work towards a common biological goal. I have gained an invaluable skill set while working at Sigma-Aldrich.

I’m a pretty shy person—Sigma-Aldrich really pushed me to develop the skills to speak confidently in front of people and to become a better communicator.

I would tell a prospective employee that Sigma-Aldrich is a great, stable company with a lot of opportunity for advancement!
