GC Analysis of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) FAME Isomers on SLB®-IL111

GC Analysis of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) FAME Isomers on SLB®-IL111

Conditions

column SLB-IL111, 200 m x 0.25 mm I.D., 0.20 µm (29689-U)
oven 150 C
carrier gas hydrogen
sample 4-component CLA FAME isomer mix, 0.5 mg/mL in methylene chloride
injection 1 muL1muL, split 50:1
liner 4 mm I.D., split type, cup design
inj. temp. 250 C
detector FID, 250 C

Description

Analysis Note Four key conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) FAME isomers are resolved. The SLB-IL111 provides a different elution pattern compared to SP-2560 (a cyanopropyl siloxane column).
