Description

Analysis Note 3,4-Methylenedioxypyrovalerone, also known as MDPV, Mtv, or Super Coke, is a new designer drug and stiµLant with cases of abuse reported in Europe and the US. In mid- to late-2010, MDPV started appearing in the US as a legal drug alternative marketed as “bath salts” under names including Ivory Wave, Tranquility, and Cloud 9. Astec CHIROBIOTIC V2, based on vancomycin CSP, provided resolution of the enatiomers. CRMs from Cerillliant provided reliable identification and quantification.
