Analysis Note This application demonstrates the separation of pentylbenzene and o-Terphenyl using Ascentis Express Biphenyl. It demonstrates the applicability of this phase to seperating substituted aromatic compounds, and also its potential utility in positional isomer seperations of Terphenyl. This set of analytes is used as a probe of pi acidity of a stationary phase.
