Sample preparation:
In a 250-ml glass beaker (wide shape) mix 10 ml of the sample with 2 ml nitric acid 65 % and evaporate. Dissolve the residue in 10 ml water for analysis.
 
Analysis:
Determine with the above mentioned test kits.
 
Calculation:
Iron content in mg/l Fe = analysis value in mg/l Fe
