Rink Acid Resins

ChemFiles Volume 3 Article 4

Rink acid resins are extremely acid-sensitive supports. Protected peptide acid fragments can be obtained without any loss of sidechain protection functionality by applying 10% acetic acid in dichloromethane. Consecutive coupling steps during chain elongation should be carried out under basic conditions to prevent any premature cleavage of peptide chains.
