a recombinant protein consisting of amino acids 1-226 of APC
Application
Frozen Sections (5 µg/ml) Immunofluorescence (5 µg/ml) Paraffin Sections (5 µg/ml, heat pre-treament required) Immunocytochemistry (see application references) Free Floating Sections (see application references)
Well suited for IHC and IF studies of oligodendrocytes and optic nerves due to the antibody′s staining of the cell body as opposed to the myelinated processes. Both frozen sections and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded brain sections can be used. Antibody should be titrated for optimal results in individual systems.

DNA from 61 unrelated patients with adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) was examined for mutations in three genes (DP1, SRP19, and DP2.5) located within a 100 kb region deleted in two of the patients. The intron-exon boundary sequences were defined for

Mutations of APC appear to initiate sporadic and inherited forms of human colorectal cancer. Although these mutations have been well characterized, little is known about the function of the APC gene product. Two cellular proteins that associate with APC were

Mutations of the adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) tumor suppressor gene have been linked to familial polyposis, an inherited predisposition to colon cancer, and a high percentage of sporadic colon adenomas. Although this gene is best known for its role in

Recent studies have suggested the existence of a tumor suppressor gene located at chromosome region 5q21. DNA probes from this region were used to study a panel of sporadic colorectal carcinomas. One of these probes, cosmid 5.71, detected a somatically
