General description

Human α-2-macroglobulin (α2M/A2M), a large tetrameric glycoprotein, is abundantly seen in plasma. It possesses anti-proteinase activity. A2M acts as a vital indicator in detecting thrombotic diseases. It plays a major role in coagulation and fibrinolysis systems. α2M may have the potential to be a new biomarker and therapeutic target for steroid-induced femoral head necrosis (SINFH). The A2M ELISA kit can be used for the quantitative measurement of α-2-macroglobulin in cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum.
The A2M ELISA kit provides for the quantitative measurement of Alpha-2-macroglobulin in Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma and Serum.

Application

Human A2M/Alpha-2-macroglobulin ELISA Kit has been used in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to confirm the presence of α-2-macroglobulin (A2M) in the analyzed saliva pools.
