Its other applications include its use as a mobile phase additive and as an extraction solvent in liquid-liquid extraction (LLC), solid-phase extraction (SPE) and microextraction for chromatographic applications, etc.[1]
Application
- As an extraction solvent for the quantification of pesticide analytes in foodstuffs[4] and tea, industrial dyes in juice and wine by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS).
- As an organic modifier in the determination of bisphenol A-diglycidyl ether, bisphenol F-diglycidyl ether and their derivatives in canned food and beverages by fast LC–MS/MS.[5]

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
