Aplicação

Nafion is a perfluorinated ion-exchange membrane which has a wide variety of commercial uses. The acidic (hydrogen ion) form and derivatives are solid, superacid catalysts useful in a wide variety of synthetic applications.
Nafion perfluorinated membrane (Nafion 117) is a composite material that can be used as an electrolytic ion-exchange membrane for the fabrication of fuel cells.

Embalagem

Darkening/browning is common for pieces stored in a general room environment for an extended period of time (several months), due to organics pick-up. Verify product is kept sealed during storage.
  • Keep pieces sealed and protected from general exposure will reduce the effect. Recommend long term storage in air-tight bags.
  • Discoloration does not affect performance and can be removed by soaking in dilute nitric acid.
