O hidrato de sal de sesquimagnésio do ácido L-ascórbico 2-fosfato, também conhecido como fosfato de ascorbilo de magnésio (MAP), é um derivado estável da vitamina C (ácido L-ascórbico). O MAP é aplicado em vários domínios de pesquisa, incluindo experimentos baseados em emulsão, desfosforilação biocatalítica, diferenciação celular e engenharia de tecidos. Sua utilidade versátil se estende à repressão de genes, estudos de transcrição e investigações relacionadas a fatores de crescimento. Na biologia celular, o MAP demonstra aplicações potenciais na indução de mudanças morfológicas em células cultivadas, influenciando as vias de morte celular.

Além disso, o MAP desempenha um papel fundamental na pesquisa metabolômica e bioquímica. Aplicação

O sal magnésico sesqui-hidratado de ácido L-ascórbico 2-fosfato foi usado em meio de expansão de células-tronco mesenquimais (CTM) para incubar estruturas (scaffolds),[1] em meio de Eagle modificado por Dulbecco (DMEM) para o cultivo de células do cordão umbilical humano[2] e células-tronco mesenquimais.[3]

Ações bioquímicas/fisiológicas

O ácido L-ascórbico 2-fosfato (AA2P) é usado na desfosforilação biocatalítica para ensaios de detecção eletroquímica e geração de energia elétrica. O ácido L-ascórbico 2-fosfato pode ser usado em aplicações de diferenciação celular e engenharia de tecidos. O Asc-2P é usado em estudos de repressão gênica, como a repressão da expressão de dickkopf-1 induzida por di-hidrotestosterona.

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.

If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice.     1. Unfortunately, the solution stability of this product at freezer temperatures has not been determined. This product is soluble in water at 50 mg/ml. Stock solutions have been found to retain 85% activity for 1 week at 37 °C and 80% activity for 1 month at refrigerated temperatures.

    1. This is not a sterile product. Stock solutions should be filter-sterilized. The compound is soluble in water at 50 mg/mL. The solution stability has not been determined.
