This product does not have a traditional concentration, as it is not in solution; it is considered a pure material with a purity of ≥99.5%. A density is not reported, but literature indicates that the pure material has a density of 1.54 g/mL, which is a mass/volume value that can be attributed to the pure D-(+)-Glucose.

Is it alpha d glucose crystal?

This product is not tested to determine the amounts of alpha and beta anomers on a lot to lot basis, but it contains both alpha and beta anomers. Historical data indicates approximately 90% a-Glucose and 7% b-Glucose. Please note that When D-glucose is dissolved in water, the optical rotation gradually changes (mutarotates) due to the formation of an equilibrium mixture consisting of approximately one-third α- and two-thirds β-D-glucose.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
