Application
Benzonase® ELISA kit II can be used for the immunological detection and quantification of the amount of Benzonase® endonuclease present in samples, thus allowing proof of its removal. The use of specific antibodies against Benzonase® endonuclease results in a precise assay with a sensitivity of 0.2 ng/mL. This corresponds to less than 1 ppm in the presence of other proteins (at concentrations higher than 0.5 mg/mL). Cross-reactions with E. coli, Pichia pastoris, normal mouse serum, bovine serum albumin, and fetal calf serum are less than 1%.
