Semi-synthetic Tn-PS A1 (Tn= D-GalpNAc)

Specificity

Clone KT-IgM-8 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that detects Thomsen-nouveau (Tn) polysaccharide A1 monovalently, including in human tumor cells.

Application

Affects Function Analysis: A representative lot showed high complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) activity. (Trabbic, K.R., et. al. (2018). Cancer Immunol Immunother. 67(9):1437-1447).

Flow Cytometry Analysis: A representative lot detected Tn-antigen in Flow Cytometry applications (Trabbic, K.R., et. al. (2018). Cancer Immunol Immunother. 67(9):1437-1447).

Enzyme Immunoassay Analysis: A representative lot detected Tn-antigen in ELISA applications (Trabbic, K.R., et. al. (2018). Cancer Immunol Immunother. 67(9):1437-1447).

Quality

Evaluated by Flow Cytometry in MCF-7 cells.

Flow Cytometry Analysis: 1 µg of this antibody detected Tn-antigen in one million MCF-7 cells.

Physical form

Purified mouse monoclonal antibody IgM in PBS without azide.

Storage and Stability

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
