Hexafluorisopropanol (HPF) wird allgemein zum Denaturieren des nativen Zustands von Proteinen eingesetzt, stabilisiert aber auch die α-Helixkonformation in ungefalteten Peptiden und Proteinen wie β-Lactoglobulin und Melittin.

Anwendung

Geeignet für die Derivatisierung von Glutaminsäure, Homovanillin-, Iso-Homovanillin- und Dihydroxyphenylessigsäuren sowie Υ-Aminobuttersäure.

Sonstige Hinweise
