Description

Application

1-Propanol may be used as a starting material in the vapour-phase synthesis of 2-propylphenol and 3-pentanone over CeO₂-MgO and CeO₂-Fe₂O₃ catalysts, respectively. It may also be used as a solvent for the palladium catalyzed cross-coupling of boronic acids with aryl halides to form biaryls.
