General description

Compounds are arranged in 96-well format in 16 racks of 80, one compound per well (25 μl at 10 mM in DMSO in archival storage racks).
LOPAC® 1280 is an extensively used library of pharmacologically active compounds. This library includes 1,280 marketed drugs, failed development candidates, and small molecules with well-characterized activities. LOPAC 1280 spans a broad molecular weight range, exhibits multiple mechanisms of action and interacts with a variety of biological receptors.[1]

Application

LOPAC® 1280 - Small Scale has been used:
  • in sprouting assay to screen potential lymphangiogenic inhibitors and the signaling pathways involved in lymphangiogenesis[2][3]
  • for identification of neuroactive compounds by measuring spontaneous activity within single zebrafish embryos by high-content screening assay[1]
  • for high-throughput Screen for ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase-1 (ENTPD1; also known as CD39) and ecto-5′-nucleotidase (CD73) inhibitors[4]

Features and Benefits

Includes the latest, drug-like molecules in the fields of Cell Signaling & Neuroscience:

  • Apoptosis
  • G Proteins & Cyclic Nucleotides
