Application

Ephedrine hydrochloride was used in the control of the inflammatory response. It was also used to treat hypotension caused by either anesthesia or overdose of antihypertensive drugs[1].

General description

Ephedrine hydrochloride is an active α- and β-adrenergic agonist[2]. It has also been reported to be effective in treating daytime urinary incontinence in children.[3]
