NR162 is a potent and selective (per DiscoverX KINOMEScan) inhibitor against the calcium/calmodulin-dependent serine protein kinase CASK (Kd = 22 nM by ITC; IC50 = 80 nM by NanoBRET) with much reduced or little potency against other kinases tested (IC50 = 3.8 μM/TYRO3, 18.2 μM/ERBB3, >20 μM/ABL1, AURKC, RPS6KA6, PIKFYVE, RPS6KA5, LRRK2, STK38L by NanoBRET).
