  • A yellow band identifies non-sterile Millex filters with hydrophilic Durapore® (PVDF) membrane
  • Recommended for filtering 10-100 milliliter (mL) volumes to remove particles prior to instrumentation analysis

  1. Is this filter in any lubricant to prevent the membrane from cracking?

    1 answer
    1. The membrane is not treated with any lubricant to prevent cracking.. A fold test is performed by sampling one roll from the membrane lot; if cracks are detected, all remaining lots in the roll are tested.
