How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. How much of Vitamin K1 per litre of anaerobic gut-mimicking media is recommended?

This is not an application that is QC tested, but the literature indicates that a good starting point might be 0.5 ug/mL. Please see: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6658209/
Another option would be to use a Vitamin K1 ready-made solution, such as: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/product/sigma/sbr00053
This product is at a concentration of 5 mg/mL, but recommends dilution down to 1 ug/mL prior to use, and states that the optimal concentration may vary by strain so, further experimentation may be necessary to determine optimal conditions.
