General description

Integrin beta7 is an adhesion molecule belonging to the integrin beta chain family. It forms heterodimers with the alpha subunit, most notably the integrin alpha4 and alphaE subunits, functioning to mediate migration and homing of lymphocytes to the gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT). The heterodimer formed with alpha4, Ī±4Ī²7, is specifically involved in the homing and migration of lymphocytes to the gut, while Ī±EĪ²7 is involved in the binding of T lymphocytes to epithelial cells and is induced by TGFĪ²1. Integrin beta7 has been observed in several different leukocyte lines.

Specificity

The antibody recognizes Integrin beta7.

Immunogen

Epitope: Unknown
Purified human integrin beta7 protein.

Application

Anti-Integrin beta7 Antibody, clone TN114 is an antibody against Integrin beta7 for use in FC, IP, IH.
