Descripción general
DNA repair protein XRCC1 (X-ray repair cross-complementing protein 1) is involved in the efficient repair of DNA single-strand breaks formed by exposure to ionizing radiation and alkylating agents. XRCC1 interacts with DNA ligase III, polymerase beta and poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase to participate in the base excision repair pathway. It may play a role in DNA processing during meiogenesis and recombination in germ cells.
Inmunógeno
Linear peptide corresponding to mouse Xrcc1.
Aplicación
Anti-Xrcc1 Antibody is a highly specific rabbit polyclonal antibody, that targets XRCC1 & has been tested in western blotting & IP.

Descripción de destino
~80 kDa observed. The molecular weight of this protein is calculated at 69 kDa; however it has been observed at ~80 kDa (Lee, Y., et al. (2009). Nature Neurosci. 12:(8):973-980.). An uncharacterized band may be observed at ~51 kDa in some cell lysates.
