    Questions

    1. What is the solubility of BP711 in saline (0.9% NaCl)?

      1 answer
      1. This is a product of the British Pharmacopoeia. It does not appear that solubility testing was performed. Please see the links below to review the supplier product information.

        Supplier Product page:
        https://www.pharmacopoeia.com/Catalogue/ProductDetails?productid=1000020908&page=1&pageSize=20&searchText=711&startsWith=

Various literature sources state that Carboplatin is soluble in saline, however the concentration is not specified. The research grade product of the identical compound, C2538, is tested for solubility in water at 10 mg/mL. A similar solubility rate would be expected in normal saline.
