Application

Sodium borohydride is a mild reducing agent commonly used for the reduction of aldehydes and ketones to their corresponding alcohols.[1][2] It is also a promising candidate as a hydrogen carrier and storage media for polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells.[3][4] NaBH4 caplets can be used for the synthesis of Ti3+-doped titanium dioxide powders from TiO2 powders.[5]
