General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product is biorenewable and thus it aligns with "Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries" and "Use of Renewable Feedstocks". Click here  for more information. This ReagentPlus® grade 2-propanol is a drop-in replacement for any 2-propanol application. Made from 78.0% renewable carbon (verified through C14 ASTM D6866-16 testing) and produced in an environmentally friendly way that reduces the carbon footprint of production and reliance on fossil fuels. Because it is not from petroleum, it is free from many non-renewable contaminants, such as benzene, phthalates, and other phenols, leading to a higher quality product.

Application

Isopropanol can be used in different applications such as:
  • Solvent in organic synthesis
  • Chemical intermediate
