  • Features a chemically-resistant head and diaphragm ideal for use with corrosive chemicals and solvents.
  • Withstands solvent vapor and moisture
  • Includes a 70 cm of 1/4 in. tubing and a Millex™ FA50 filter for in-line moisture protection.
  • Easy-to-adjust vacuum and pressure regulators with individual gauges.
  • Portable design for easy movement between workstations.

Application

Vacuum source for filter holders, manifolds, and devices, including Simplicity® Filtration System, SNAP id® 2.0 System, Multiscreen® HTS Filtration Manifold, and Stericup® filters.

Questions

  1. Hello, Is this pump rated to handle flammable solvents and/or their vapor, such as isopropanol? we have a concern here that it may cause a fire from exposure to these vapors. if it is rated for this, is there documentation that states it?

    1. Yes, this product has the following materials of construction which are ideal for use with corrosive chemicals such as isopropanol.:
      Body and pump head: Die cast aluminum
      Diaphragm: Buna-N with PTFE lining
      Head gasket: Buna-N
      Leaf valves: High grade stainless steel
      Internal pump surfaces: PTFE-coated

      However, a chart for chemical resistance rating is not readily available.
