General description

Molecular biology grade water is sterile filtered and ready to use, free from DNase, RNase, phosphatase, and protease contamination.

Application

Water, sterile filtered has been used:

  • for cloning and plasmid construction.
  • for restriction digestion of PCR amplicons in polysaccharide A (PSA) restriction method.
  • in RNA isolation.
  • fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
  • to dilute the samples of CVF (cervicovaginal fluid) and menstrual extracts for testing specificity through reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification of mRNA.
  • for DNA quantification using quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR).
