Application
MS-1020 may be used in JAK-3-mediated cell signaling studies.
Biochem/physiol Actions
MS-1020 is a selective JAK3 inhibitor
MS-1020 is an ATP-competitive, selective inhibitor of JAK3, thereby blocking downstream STAT signaling. MS-1020 binds directly with JAK3, blocking its catalytic activity. It suppressed IL-2-induced JAK3/STAT5 signaling but not prolactin-induced JAK2/STAT5 signaling. MS-1020 has also been shown to decreases cell survival by inducing apoptosis via downregulating anti-apoptotic gene expression.
