一般描述
环己烷是一种环状烷烃，具有较高的稳定性，主要以椅式构象存在。它作为起始试剂参与光亚硝基化过程（PNC过程），并提供ε-己内酰胺。用各种氧化剂如过氧化氢、叔丁基过氧化氢和分子氧进行氧化已有报道。
应用
环己烷可以过氧化氢为氧化剂，在存在多氧钨酸催化剂的条件下氧化，形成以环己酮和环己醇为主要产物的环己烷。在Ni-Cu/SiO2催化剂存在下，其脱氢形成苯，收率很高。
环己烷已被用于以下研究：
- 作为合成铕二苯甲酰甲烷三乙胺 (EuD 4 TEA) 的溶剂。
- 制备聚二甲基硅氧烷（PDMS）微芯片。
- 在两溶剂（环己烷/水）沉积法中作为溶剂，用于制备含5wt% Ni的单金属催化剂。
