一般描述

蜡样芽孢杆菌青霉素酶既是细胞外酶又是细胞结合酶。它具有单条多肽链，分子量为31 kDa。它在蛋白质序列中缺乏半胱氨酸。

应用

蜡样芽孢杆菌产青霉素酶，可用于制备安培检测青霉素水解的生物传感器
用于生产青霉素。

生化/生理作用

青霉素酶特异性催化青霉素的 β-内酰胺环的水解。

包装

无底玻璃瓶。内含物装在插入的融合锥内。

单位定义

一个单元将在 pH7.0，25℃ 下，每分钟水解 1.0 μmole 指定的底物。以苄青霉素单位出售。该国际单位（使用苄青霉素作为底物）约等于 600 Levy 或 75 Pollock 单位。
