General description

ASS1 catalyzes the penultimate step of the arginine biosynthetic pathway . Mutations in ASS1 cause Citrullinemia.
Studies have reported that ASS1 functions as a tumor suppressor in myxofibrosarcomas. Rabbit Anti-ASS1 (433-445) binds to amino acids 433-445 of human ASS1.

Application
