Biochem/physiol Actions

Post-GPI attachment to proteins 3 (PGAP3; PERLD1) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-specific phospholipase localized to Golgi complex that has role in remodeling and posttranslational modifications of GPI. The PERLD1 gene is associated with asthma and hyperphosphatasia with mental retardation syndrome 4 (HPMRS4).
