生化/生理作用

胱氨酸尿症的特征在于L-胱氨酸的肾转运和排泄。半胱氨酸是与生长、繁殖、维持和免疫相关的功能性氨基酸之一。半胱氨酸是蛋白质中二硫键的来源,并且与硫转运有关。在生理pH下,半胱氨酸经过快速氧化,形成胱氨酸。半胱氨酸或胱氨酸的可用性降低,会影响白细胞代谢。L-胱氨酸是动脉平滑肌细胞的氧气产生和LDL(低密度脂蛋白)修饰所必需的。
