General description

Pseudomonas exotoxin A is secreted by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is a member of the family mono-ADP-ribosyltransferases.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Pseudomonas exotoxin A functions as an anticancer agent.
It catalyses the transfer of ADP-ribose moiety of NAD+ to the histidine imidazole ring of diphthamide.
Shown to be toxic to animals and to cell lines, and to inhibit protein synthesis via ADP ribosylation of elongation factor 2.

Packaging

Package size based on protein content.
