Biochem/physiol Actions

2-丙基戊酸是短链脂肪酸,或能抑制组蛋白去乙酰化酶的作用。可促进肿瘤细胞毒性,增加对辐射的敏感性。2-丙基戊酸可提高大脑中 γ-氨基丁酸水平。 存在过量2-丙基戊酸,则可观察到中枢神经系统作用减弱。它通过阻断电压依赖性钠通道,增强 γ-氨基丁酸(GABA)的抑制作用。
