生化/生理作用

罗丹明123是最常用于流式细胞术的荧光染料,可用作P-糖蛋白(Pgp)的功能性报告分子。它是罗丹明类flurone染料的一部分。该染料主要用于评估活细胞的线粒体生物能量代谢。在癌症治疗中,多药耐药(MDR)蛋白的功能测定是比MDR蛋白表达水平更好的预后指标。Rh 123可用于多参数分析而无荧光干扰,可与常用蛋白质标记染料组合使用,如PE-Cy5和AMCA(7-氨基-4-甲基香豆素-3-乙酸)。近期报道表明,Rh123也可能是多药耐药蛋白-1(MRP1)的底物。
