General description

14:0 PEG2000 PE, also called as 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000] (DMPE-PEG2000), is a polyethylene glycol (PEG)-phospholipid conjugate. It belongs to a group of polymerizable lipids. Incorporation of DMPE-PEG in the vesicle formulation stops aggregation of vesicles upon peptide addition.

Application

14:0 PEG2000 PE or 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000] has been used in: giant vesicles preparation, lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation, unilamellar liposomes preparation for small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) experiments
