General description

Fluoropore® membrane is hydrophobic and has polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) polymer bonded to high-density polyethylene. This membrane with chemical compatibility and consistency may be useful in sample preparation for ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, air monitoring, clarifying acids, bases, and solvents.

Application

Fluoropore® Membrane Filter has been used as a filter in the National institute for occupational safety and health (NIOSH) aerosol sampler for bioaerosols collection.
