Application

This kit features a convenient selection of pre-qualified standard peptides, proteins, matrices, and solvents for calibrating and testing matrix assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometers. Configured for analyzing complex mixtures of proteins and peptides (700 to 66,000 Da), MSCAL1 is ideal for evaluating unknown samples or samples containing a broad range of molecular weights. Applications include calibration, tuning, and sensitivity testing of MALDI instruments from all manufacturers.
“ProteoMass” Peptide and Protein MALDI-MS Calibration Kit has been used for calibration in the following experiments:
  • Isolation and characterization of cytotoxic cyclotides from Viola tricolor.(1)
  • Isolation and Characterization of novel cyclotides from Viola hederaceae.(2)
  • To study the domain architecture and biochemical characterization of vertebrate Mcm10.(3)
