CYFIP-related Rac1 interactor A (UniProt: Q9H0Q0; also known as Protein CYRIA, FAM49A) is encoded by the CYRIA (also known as FAM49A) gene (Gene ID: 81553) in human. FAM49A is a evolutionarily conserved protein that is suggested to negatively regulate RAC1 signaling and RAC1-driven cytoskeletal remodeling. It may also regulate chemotaxis, cell migration, and epithelial polarization by controlling the polarity, plasticity, duration and extent of protrusions. It binds to activated Rac1 via a domain of unknown function (DUF1394). This ZooMAb recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals.
