Erlenmeyer flasks

Erlenmeyer flasks are conical flasks with flat bottoms, made of plastic or glass and are widely used in a laboratory for pouring, mixing, measuring liquid solutions, storing lab chemicals, and facilitating suspension cell culture. With their characteristic conical shape and narrow neck, Erlenmeyer flasks offer several advantages that make them essential tools in any scientific setting.

Corning Erlenmeyer flasks

These flasks are sterile and disposable, making them perfect for a wide range of applications such as cell culture, liquid handling, and storage. Corning disposable Erlenmeyer flasks are equipped with molded graduations to ensure precise measurements, individually packaged, and offer the option of a vent cap to enable continuous gas exchange while effectively preventing any leakage.

BRANDTM Erlenmeyer flasks

These flasks are made of either glass or plastic and are available in a wide range of options, including different neck designs, screwcaps or beaded rims, graduation markings, and both wide and narrow mouth variations.

Nalgene Erlenmeyer flasks

Nalgene flasks are made of laboratory-grade materials such as polypropylene, polycarbonate, polymethyl pentene, or fluoropolymer. These flasks are also available with screw caps. They offer a cost-effective solution and exhibit exceptional chemical inertness, high-impact strength, and clarity. Additionally, Nalgene flasks are transparent to microwave radiation providing added convenience and versatility in laboratory applications.

Foxx life science Erlenmeyer flasks

These flasks, made of plastic, are specifically designed for cell culture and fermentation applications. They are available with either baffled or non-baffled bottoms, providing flexibility and suitability for different experimental requirements.

Round-bottom flasks

Round-bottom flasks, also known as boiling flasks, have a spherical shape with a flat bottom and can have single or multiple necks. They are commonly used for heating, refluxing, distillation, and other chemical processes where efficient mixing and heating are required. The round shape allows for even heat distribution, and the flat bottom provides stability on a heating mantle or in a water bath.

Ace round bottom flasks

These flasks are made of borosilicate glass, with multiple options of neck number and joint sizes. Also, there are options for standard or heavy wall. The Flasks can also contain a flare-out directly below the center joint, which facilitates easy cleaning and removal of stir blades.

Conical flasks

Conical flasks are used in laboratories for mixing and storing solutions, conducting titrations, heating liquids over a Bunsen burner, and performing filtration processes. The tapered shape of the flask allows for effective swirling and mixing without the risk of spills. They are typically made of glass or plastic and are available in various sizes to accommodate different volumes of liquid.

Pyrex® baffled shaker flasks

These flasks are made of clear borosilicate glass with long necks, which helps prevent the splashing of liquids, and are specifically designed for use in shaking incubators or shaker platforms. Pyrex® borosilicate flasks offer excellent thermal resistance and chemical durability, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.

Vacuum filtration assembly flasks

These borosilicate glass flasks are specifically designed for vacuum filtration and feature a side-arm. They play a crucial role in separating solids from liquids by creating a pressure differential that allows the liquid to pass through while retaining the solid particles. These flasks are an essential component in many filtration applications, providing researchers with efficient and reliable filtration capabilities.

Cell Culture Flasks

Cell culture flasks are used in cell culture for the growth and propagation of cells in vitro. These flasks are designed to provide an optimal environment for cell growth, facilitating the study of various aspects of cellular behavior and enabling the conduct of experiments. The surface area of the flask is an important factor to consider as it directly influences the capacity for cell attachment and growth. The inner surface of cell culture flasks is often treated or coated to enhance cell attachment and growth.

Corning® cell culture flasks

These rectangular flasks are made of polystyrene and come with a cap. The inner surface of the flasks is treated for tissue culture treated, providing an optimized surface area for cell growth.

Millicell® HY flasks

These flasks are innovative multilayer cell culture flasks that support uniform, consistent cell growth for high cell recovery.

Volumetric flasks

Volumetric flasks are used for precise measurement and preparation of a specific volume of liquid. These flasks have a characteristic pear-shaped design with a long neck and a single calibration mark etched on the neck or the body. Volumetric flasks are commonly used in analytical chemistry for precise volume measurement, dilution, and preparation of solutions and for standardization and calibration.

Pyrex® volumetric flasks

These flasks are made of borosilicate glass and feature heavy-tubing necks with glass or polyethylene stoppers.
