Application

General description

酸化セリウム(IV)(CeO₂)は、酸化セリウム(III)、セリア、二酸化セリウムとも呼ばれ、希土類金属セリウムの酸化物です。白色から黄色のナノパウダーで、粒子径は25nm未満(BET法)で、高い表面積と反応性を示します。触媒、電気化学用途、ガラスやセラミックスなど、様々な用途に使用されています。CeO₂は自動車用触媒コンバーターに広く採用されており、有害物質の排出削減に貢献しています。さらに、先端セラミックスの製造、ガラス研磨、様々な化学反応の触媒としても使用されています。その独特な物理的および化学的特性により、光学部品、電池技術、原子力利用、セラミック、ガラス、オプトエレクトロニクス、冶金学、熱ルミネセンス線量計、触媒作用、環境研究、および生物医学用途での使用に適しています。[1]

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. However, this material is insoluble in water and is not expected to be a clear solution. Note that product 289744 is an unrelated dispersion of Cerium (IV) oxide in acidified water.
