If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

Could you elaborate on the surface resistance measurement (200~450 Ohm/square)? What was the film thickness for this measurement? In particular I would like to know the electrical conductivity.

The surface resistance is measured by a dried coating layer on a polyester substrate. The dried layer is originated from a 40 µm wet coating. Assuming the thickness of dry layer is 40 µm as well, the electrical conductivity can be converted using surface resistance via equation:
σ= 1/ (Rs x d)
Where:
σ = electrical conductivity (S/cm)
𝑅𝑠 = surface resistance (Ohm/square)
d = thickness of the material (cm)If Rs = 200 Ohm/square, σ = 1 / (200 x 0.004) = 1.25 S/cm; If Rs = 450 Ohm/square, σ = 1 / (450 x 0.004) = 0.56 S/cm. The electrical conductivity should be in the range of 0.56 - 1.25 S/cm.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. For product 768618, Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate), what is additional product information including solubility?

Product 768618, Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate (Orgacon DRY) is not a formulation or dispersion. It consists of dry PEDOT:PSS powder/pellets (lyophilized). Because PSS (poly(styrenesulfonate) is hygroscopic, the pellets will always contain some residual water. These pellets can be redispersed in organic solvents. Orgacon DRY is not soluble in chloroform or chlorobenzene.

What can you tell me regarding the method of preparation of the PEDOT/PSS products, such as Products 768618 and 739316?

The information on the molecular weights of the PEDOT and PSS used to make each batch is held as proprietary.The exact information on the relative amounts (by weight) of the PEDOT and PSS present in these polymers is also held as proprietary. There is a little more PSS than PEDOT; this is logical, since the formula weight for the monomeric equivalent in PSS (C7H6SO3) is a little higher than the formula weight for the monomeric equivalent in PEDOT (C6H4SO2).The solution, product 739316 is made in situ; it is not made from the dry pellets (product 768618).
