General description

2-フェノキシエタノールは、一般に使用されている高スペクトル抗菌性保存剤であり、0.5–1.0%の濃度範囲で化粧品および局所製剤に使用されています。ミトコンドリアにおける電子伝達とリン酸化反応とのカップリングを阻害し、ATP合成を攪乱することによって作用します。また、リンゴ酸デヒドロゲナーゼの活性を阻害し、細胞膜のカリウムイオンに対する透過性を高めます。

Application

本医薬品用二次標準物質は、以下の用途にも使用できます：

ラットの血漿、尿および7種類の組織サンプルを用いた液体クロマトグラフィー-タンデム質量分析（LC-MS/MS）による、フェノキシエタノールおよびその主要代謝物であるフェノキシ酢酸の測定
市販のヒトワクチンから2-フェノキシエタノールを定量する逆相超高速液体クロマトグラフィー（RP-UHPLC）法の開発
高速液体クロマトグラフィー-フォトダイオードアレイ-エレクトロスプレーイオン化質量分析（HPLC-PDA-ESI/MS）による、化粧品（CP）に広く使用される17種類の防腐剤のスクリーニング
薄層クロマトグラフィー（TLC）による、クリームサンプル中の酢酸ヒドロコルチゾンおよび2-フェノキシエタノールの濃度測定
プログラム温度蒸発（PTV）インレットと炎イオン化検出器と組み合わせたガスクロマトグラフィー（GC）による、局所製剤中の8種類の揮発性および半揮発性成分の分析

How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

  If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
  For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
  For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

  Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.
