Recombinant chorionic gonadotropin β 3 subunit
Immunogen Sequence: GI # 4502789, sequence 1-165
Anti-Chorionic Gonadotropin ß Subunit (ab2) antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
Choriogonadotropin subunit β (CG-β) is a protein encoded by the CGB gene in humans and belongs to glycoprotein hormone β chain family. It encodes the β 3 subunit of chorionic gonadotropin and consists of a unique carboxyl-terminal peptide (CTP) that has multiple O-linked glycans and extends serum half-life of the protein. CG-β expression may be seen in high-grade osteosarcoma. Its expression in classic seminoma (CS) is not limited to syncytiotrophoblastic cells.
