General description

ケンフェロールは、天然の食事性フラボノイドであり、さまざまな果物や野菜に認められるポリフェノール性抗酸化剤です。[1]ケンフェロールは、異なる糖と結合することによるアストラガリンなどの異なるグリコシド型で植物に存在します。[2]

Application

低ppm領域でのアンチモンの発色剤およびサブppm領域でのガリウムおよびインジウムの発色剤です。

ケンフェロール（KAE）は、以下の用途に使用されています：

SH-S5Y5細胞におけるロテノン誘発性パーキンソン病（PD）モデルに対する抗酸化剤および神経保護剤としての潜在的効果を確認するため
ヒト大動脈内皮細胞（HAEC）におけるリポ多糖（LPS）誘発性の炎症性損傷に対する抗炎症効果を試験するため[3]
核因子赤血球系2関連因子2（Nrf2）を阻害することにより、非小細胞肺癌（NSCLC）細胞に対するアポトーシス感受性効果を検討するため[4]

Biochem/physiol Actions

ケンフェロールのジフェニルプロパン成分がその疎水性に寄与しています。[2]ホルボール・エステル処理マウス線維芽細胞の形質転換表現型またはv-H-ras-形質転換NIH 3T3細胞を復帰させることが示されています。ケンフェロールは、顕著な核DNA分解を脂質過酸化と同時に誘導します。[5]トポイソメラーゼIが触媒するDNA再連結も阻害します。[6]ケンフェロールも脂肪酸シンターゼの活性を阻害できます。

骨破壊性骨吸収の強力なインヒビターです。この効果は、ケンフェロールの抗酸化およびエストロゲン活性によるものと考えられています。

How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

  If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
  For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
  For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

  Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.
