α1-アドレナリンレセプタ-のアンタゴニストであり、L型カルシウムチャネルブロッカ-です。平滑筋および心筋のL型Ca2+チャネルをブロックし、in vitroでヒトの原発性および転移性結腸腺癌細胞のアポト-シスを誘導します。Pgpに作用する薬剤耐性克服剤であり、例えば、ジゴキシンの尿細管排出を低下させる作用があります。Pgpの定常状態のATPア-ゼ活性を増加させます。Cyp3A4およびCYP2C6の基質です。
